No One Can Bare The Burden Of Another
From Qur'an Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle) 6:164
Say: "Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things? No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then unto your Lord is your return, so He will tell you that wherein you have been differing."
None can bare the burden of another... meaning each of us are responsible for our own actions in this life. we better be sure that we are following the correct understanding of Islam, within the guidelines of the Qur'an and the Sunnah... cause on the day of judgment we will not be able to point fingers at any one else.. not even our sheikhs, imams or maulanas.
May Allah (swt) give us the correct understanding of Islam and help us to abide by all aspects of it.
From Qur'an, Surah Az-Zumar (The Groups) 39:10
Do Good And Be
10. Say (O Muhammad ): "O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allah) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allah's earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allah at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning."
we have to realize that the world is just a test. despite all the upevil and the wrong doings, we have to keep doing good in whatever capacity, based on the Qur'an and Sunnah only.. ... not based on logic or our whims and desires or copying any other nation's way. as the Prophet (saw) also said that if we stick to the Qur'an and Sunnah, we will never be misguided. after we learn to comprehensively follow Allah (swt) commands, we have to learn to be patient.... human being plans and Allah (swt) plans and Allah (swt) is the best of planners. we will be asked as to what we did with our lives and how we abided by Islam.... death could approach any of us and any time...are we ready to answer to Allah (swt)?
